How soon must we use the words "war crime"? How many children must be scattered in the rubble of Israeli air attacks before we reject the obscene phrase "collateral damage" and start talking about prosecution for crimes against humanity?

As with many wars, there are no innocent parties. Israel does have the right to defend itself, but I feel they frequently go overboard and have twisted perceptions of what serves as justification for their actions. The Middle East is a power keg, and it's all because of differences in religious beliefs. It should serve as a poster child for all those neo-conservative, uber-Christians who feel the U.S. should be a their theocracy.

Both sides are killing children and other innocents. Neither side is blameless. This latest upsurge in violence in this long running conflict, highlights jus how necessary it has become for the world powers the U.S. in particular to force a final settlement on all parties. It's really a no brainer. Israel must abide by UN resolutions and withdraw from all occupied lands which would include the dimantling of all settlements and the Arabs must recognize Israel and provide guarantees as to Israels security. This is the only way out of this mess. As long as long as you have Isarelis trying to hold on to lands taken in the 6 day war of 1967 9which at leat for mmost Arabs is at the root of the problem) and Arabs refusing to recognize Israel this conflict will continue.

How many Israeli children (among others) have been killed in attacks from Hezbollah, Hamas, PLO, and the list goes on? Why isn't Israel alowed to take the necessaryu steps to defend herself ? Israel is not deliberately targeting civilians, but since Hezbollah CHOSE to locate in homes and residential areas (AND have refused to allow many of them to leave), casualties are inevitable. Contrast this with the approach the terrorists use: Rocket attacks against CITIES, not just specific buildings, car bombs (COMPLETELY indiscriminate), suicide bombers in shopping areas, ... By the way, even some of the Arabs are giving lip service to the eradication of Hezbollah, and the sooner it comes, the better for all.

Either you believe what the liberal media says about Israel or you look into others showing the other side. You made up your mind that Israel is the killers and NOT Hezbollah.
Sadly the truth and you are so very far apart.
Try looking at Jersulam Post, Aish.com, Artuz 7 Edition, to see the other side that was being killed first!

Killing is not the goal.
THe goal is to destroy Hizbullah who constantly kill inocent children by the name of their god and the Iranian government.
Lebanon should presure Hizbullah to stop terorizing 2 million Israeli civilians on a daily basis.
How many German children were killed by the US and Britain in order to get rid of Hitler and the Nazis?
