50-50 split...Dogs are almost immediately friendly, loyal, protective, playful, etc. They love unconditionally...but in order to get these same qualities from a cat, you have to work for it...earn their respect before they'll become ur best buds, come when you call, cuddle, play, etc. Guess it all depends on the individual & how much they want immediate gratification or willing to work for the relationship, LOL. Me? I love 'em both!

Cats. Less care needed in the way of walking them etc. Less smelly. Can leave them alone longer. They're cuddly and fun. They're amusing. Mine do some hilarious things. They're lovey and I just think they're great.

well cats are more like myself yet dogs are more lovable so it really is too hard to make a choice
