you can pick any animal that you feel comfortable with because any animal has its own good qualities. for example, you could say you are like the lion because like the king of the jungle you are a born leader, your family dog because you're loyal, an eagle because you soar to new heights. It depends on the job you are looking for and the impression that you want to leave. Loyal and hardworking says family dog to me, but at the same time you may not want to give the impression that you are a cute puppy dog if you are applying for a managerial or high speed sales position... things to consider. good luck in your search!

Some might think asking an applicant what kind of animal they'd like to be and why is a stupid question. But in reality, it's a good one!
Why? Because it gives real insight into what type of person you are. For example, if someone says they'd like to be a Tiger, it implies aggressiveness. If someone says a mouse, it implies quiet, shy, and weak.
So how does one come up with an answer? The KEY is to find an animal that suits that particular job. If you're going for a sales position, one needs to be persistent and not scared off by failure. Something like a bear or tiger may be appropriate here because they go after what they want. A deer would not be a good choice because they're more docile and less aggressive.

A snake!
Because I am slimey and dirty looking but my just sitting idle gives you false security and then I strike you in the back when you least expect it!
LOL
One time when asked about my work ethic on a interview for a HOT (temperature wise) factory machinist job.... I told the interviewer that I was lazy, didn't like to get dirty and didn't like to sweat.... The guy started laughing madly and didn't realise I was being brutally honest. :) I job the job! lol

I would say that I am most like a Tiger: Bold in appearence and demeanor, courageous in new endeavors, a natural leader, and comfortable working alone or on a team.

As an employer, I would probably not hire people who volunteered information like that. If I asked the question, I'd only hire the monkeys.
