Are Jews superior?

I am a Jew and I think this is a valid question.

Did you know that Jews:

-have the highest agerage IQ of any racial, religious or ethnic group
-on average score higher on the SAT than any other group
-have the highest literacy rate of any group
-have complete control of many industries including: medical industry, media (news, movie industry, etc.), banking, finance, stock exchanges, diamond industry, and some of the most powerful lobby groups in the U.S. promoting Israeli interests.

This is not just a coincidence is it? Why are we so powerful as a group and why do so many people hate us? Shouldn't people respect us more if we are the most powerful minority group in the world?

It is ironic that you, as a Jew, are asking this question since I would have assumed that a Jew would be far more careful of this question since Hitler asked this about Aryans as a justification for the policies that led to the Holocaust. Also your points are not actual evidence for your thesis for various reasons. Firstly, the IQ tests are controversial in and of themselves in whether or not they properly quantify intelligence. Secondly, the SAT is known to favor those that come from a richer economic background as those with wealthier families can afford expensive prep schools that a poorer student might not-- although, with natural intelligence, a poorer student would do just as well as a richer but dumber student who needed to pay through the nose to make up for that lack. Thirdly, the "complete control" of industries that you claim is a completely ridiculous statement because in those industries, no matter how important, there is no ONE person or group that can decide the entire fate of the industry.

Granted, for such a small ethnic group, there are a significant amount of Jews in the industries you have listed but in the overall demographics, they have all been outnumbered by many other groups. Although it is a bit complicated to get into but your statement is a gross overgeneralization and actually shows a severe lack of understanding.

Really, Jews have been hated because the Jewish population is significantly smaller in size compared to other ethnicities. It is human nature to note differences and when something goes wrong, it is easier to scapegoat someone who is different and lacks the power to fight back. The fact that Jews are a minority and have been persecuted for so long make them a favorite target out of habit and practicality.

It is also a defense mechanism for an oppressed person or group to comfort themselves with such thoughts of superiority as it makes life palatable. But, in the end, reality rears its ugly head.

That is an interesting question. I am from Southern India and i belong to a group called brahmins. They are maybe the jewish equivalents in India and they are despised also.

I think Brahmins and Jews are so successful because of their culture. They have a culture that values education, have closer knit families and have extreme parental pressure to a succeed as well. Although i do not know that much about Jews, in Brahmin families, going to college is not a choice, it is just the next logical step after high school. We can only see education and higher learning as a way to earn a good living and so we end up as doctors and lawyers and engineers and end up rich and successful.

As far as why everyone hates Jews and most Brahmins, its probably because of jealousy over the success. And since the success has been around for generations, people mistakenly think that they are born into it and dont realise that everyone works hard to be successful like that.

Jews are a religious group, not a race. The racial name is 'hebrew'. The question, therefore, is "Are hebrews superior?".

I read a claim that hebrews have an average IQ of 115, but I am doubtful of that. The japanese have an average IQ of 115, koreans 112, chinese 110. I have no doubt that hebrews, on the average, have an above-average IQ, but I doubt that it is the highest in the world. Also, IQ falls on a bell curve, meaning that only the AVERAGE person of a particular race can have superior intelligence.

Most of the success of the hebrews is caused not only by intelligence, but more so by the common character trait of perfectionism.

Intelligence and perfectionism are not the only traits that define superiority. There are also superior and inferior character traits. On the average, hebrews have a temperament that is more dominant than others, and therefore socially destructive. For example, just recently, in Lebonon, the hebrews killed civilians in Beirut in response to Hezbollah attacks from southernmost Lebanon. Earlier, the hebrews demolished civilian infrastructure of Palestine in response to a few radical suicide bombers. Because of such character, I conclude that hebrews are, if anything, an inferior race, but I do not stereotype all hebrews as having such bad character.

I must say though, that most hebrews have an awareness of racial non-equality, which is a good trait. That means that hebrews are at least superior to the racial-egalitarian races, such as those of Michael Moore (an indigenous north european type) and Jesse Jackson (a west african type).

Your facts are incorrect. ASIANS have the highest average IQ, and hold the highest literacy rate of any group. BTW, I'm not Asian either. I have to disagree with you.

I think your questions are seriously ludacris as well. How can you possibly think that your race is superior...this is the type of propaganda that leads to racism!

Now get off your pedastal and research your facts again!

I don't respect any minority more than the other...we are all human beings who ALL (mostly) work very hard at being intelligent, literate, and powerful AT OUR OWN GAME!

Humans all deserve to live equally and in harmony, to love each other, regardless of whether they are smarter than others or not ( i'm referring to an individual level only).

As for your racist and generalistic comment, how could you wrap a whole society into on thing? in every society , there are smart people, powerful people, dumb people, criminals...and the worst of all: Those who see pictures of dead children and calls them animals ( You, S Weiman., know who i'm talking about ).

It probably is true that jews are powerful because they have been able to convince each other to work and help each other, nad i truly admire your unity. But that doens't mean that as a people, you are "smarter" than others.
To make my point clear, imagine if a person is placed in 2 different scenarios. One with a rich and loving family and the other in a poor area. In the first scenario, the person will grow up to use his/her full potentila and smartness while in the second case, the person will most likely be less fortunate and less able to use his/her skills because the world was closed to them. But in the end, it's the same person.
this goes back to the same scneario you mention, jews are able to unify and help each other, tha'ts great for you guys. But that doesn't mean that the others are less smart. If we really want to live in a peacful world, people like you should stop stomping on other's heads and shout in arrogance, for it will only make others hate you. You should be loving the others, helping out and caring for the less fortunate. The world can only be at peace when we all work together. So instead of thinking that you are better than the rest, never forget that there are other humans who interact with you on this planet.

I'm not surprized as the Hebrews are the
"apple of God's eyes" according to the Scripture.
And we can see that the "Jews" have been blessed
in many ways and that God has given them a greater
portion of His wisdom and knowledge.

Of course, we know there is also the "backside" of every coin and that is that the Jews will skin you alive (financially) if they get a chance to.
It's just their nature in making money.

I think people generally respect the Jews and admire their
contributions to the world, but as you know, "Christianity"
in the "broader sense" has maligned the Jews because the Jews said, "Crucify Him " and there has and always will be people that will use this deed 2,000 years ago
as a form of influencing the Christian nation AGAINST the Jews.
But God has His Eye on the nation of Israel.
It may look sometimes as if He has abandoned them but He never did and never will.
The ONLY reason that we as America are such a blessed nation is because we were founded on Judeo-Christian principles.

It is not that the "Jews" are hated for their accomplishments but an evil spirit is around that has
always been against God's "chosen ones."
Hitler for example had this evil spirit in him.

So, be proud of your heritage and always remember, especially in these heated times,

if you were that smart then you would know that Judaism is a religion not a race as you seem to be putting it. but its true there are a lot of rich Jews, but that's only because they work hard. they don't have extra brain cells or parts. unless you want us to send you back to concentration camps for the safety of humanity.

what is it with people talking about Japanese and Chinese as though they are the bloody smartest race in the world. why can they see who invented today's world, why don't the British get the credit, or USA. if you want to go back to the past the middle-Easterners and Europeans. everything from mathematics to science was invented and discovered by these people. why is that just because they are slightly ahead of them in technology research they get all the credit. the only reason for that is because they don't have to take care of the world as USA do.

I do not believe Jew or Asians or any other race is superior. But they seem to issue their children have access to better educational opportunity's and they do not accept low grades and slow educational performance.

In the 6th grade I went to school with a Lao boy. He broke down when he saw his report card and he had a B-. He literally starting crying and screaming. He informed the teachers his father was going to "kill" him. They called his parents to the school and his father went nuts. He had the intention of beating his son. You could hear him screaming in LAO and he actually smacked his son right then and there. The principle had to call the school counselor and district police officer explain to them that the father was dangerously close to a child abuse charge.

That boy? He went to OU and has a masters degree in chemical engineering.

I am not a JEW, I do think Jews have tremendous power--it is just a fact--any who cannot accept this is deceiving themselves.

i do not have anything against jews; in fact at times i am fascinated by how they take control of inustries not started by them

I do not think one needs IQ to be successful,powerful, especially in the case with JEWS--although it helps.

JEWS--pretty much run/own--media-- hollywood, news, print news, almost all major magazines, tv programming etc
jews run own--wall street--ie investment banking, banking, financing etc
most major fortune 500 companies---senior management,board of directors--by jews
powerful lobby group--
almost all ivy leage school, plus most universities--presided by jew
top lawyers , many lawyers are jewish
most of america's industrial /commerical real estate--owned by jews.

jews are very good at taking advantage of people, taking advantage of others' hard work. very good at colloborating & taking control---i am fascinated by how they do this. all jews work togother especially in the industry.

historically...i dont think jews have indigenously ever developed any thing-----scientifically----englishmen, german, & frenchmen---have contributed a lot --in the fields of mathematics, chemistry, physics. Eg: jet engine, fluid mechanics, rocket equation, aeroplanes design etc

jews are very good at working with something that has been invented...not coming up with something from scratch.

jews--do have "culture" and "soul" within themselves, that non jews, ie gentile---seem to not have. i admire this.

USA cannot/ will never say "NO" to israel.
israel uses "indirect" pressure on USA to submit to their wishes.

fighting israel's army is like fighting US army, as USA/ISRAEL pretty much has same weapon technology. if anything an israeli army would be smarter in terms of strategy&everything
