I don't think Israel should take on anything more than it needs to take on.
At many times through history, Syria was the power behind the the political structure in Lebanon. With Iran breathing fire at Israel, should it touch Syria; one must see that Syria is the neck that turns the head of Lebanon today.
It seems that Israel thus far, before the threats from Iran, has carefully avoided Syria.
I do not think Israel should take on Syria and Iran. The question is will they have a choice?

No. That would inflame all the Arabs. Remember that during the Gulf War, we stopped Israel from participating, even though they were getting hit by Scuds. If Israel pre-emptively launches a strike on Syria or Iran, they would end up fighting the whole middle-east (Syria, Iran, Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, maybe even Iraq). Unfortunately, they are going to have to wait for us to do it for them.
The only way I think they could do it, was if they caught a nuke getting smuggled across the border into Israel, and they could prove beyond any doubt that it was Iranian. Even then, a lot of people would not believe Israel, and use any action they take as an excuse to attack. There is just too much anti-semitism in the world.

Israel already beat the snot out of everybody in the region, thats why they all hate Israel.
The Six-Day War (Hebrew: מלחמת ששת הימים transliteration: Milkhemet Sheshet HaYamim, Arabic: حرب الأيام الستة transliteration: ħarb al-ayam as-sita), also known as the 1967 Arab-Israeli War, Six Days War, or June War, was fought between Israel and the nearby Arab states of Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, and Syria. The war was initiated by an Israeli response to Egyptian aggression, [1] [2] [3] [4] when Israel launched a preemptive attack against Egypt. [5] [6] [7] [8] Jordan in turn attacked the Israeli city of Netanya and Israeli-controlled west Jerusalem. [9] [10] At the war's end, Israel had gained control of the Gaza Strip, the Sinai Peninsula, the West Bank, and the Golan Heights. The results of the war affect the geopolitics of the region to this day.

Absolutely not. If Israel and Syria got into a war it would create a massive crisis that we haven't seen since the 1973 Yom Kippur War. No state government wants a war in the Middle East, even the Syrians and Iranians. Why? No one knows what the end result will be. The only thing that anyone knows is that a regional war will result in many deaths and skyrocketing gas prices.

Syria is shifting troops to the border. only reported that on Al-Jazerria television sounds like this only might want to spread... ( no longer some thing about nukes changed into even reported ) so as that section is BS. As stated above, cora is ideal. Syria is on aleart and has already began to pass troops etc.
