Amityville Horror (old), Texas Chainsaw Massacre (new), Mothman Prophecies, Saw, and Hostel all are scary, wild, and weird

The Exorcist scares the he** out of me everytime, since I know it is based on a real situation.
I also really got spooked with the Blair Witch project. The 1st one, the 2nd was a joke.
The Halloween movites are okay, too.
I also liked Dawn of the Dead, if you are into zombies.
I'm a big scary movie buff, and the ones listed are about the only ones to ever really get to me at all.

The Birds by Alfred Hitchcock. The original not the remake. It was also the only movie ever made with no background music

I watched "The Hills have Eyes" this weekend, it scared the hell out of me. It's kinda gory but really good. Another scary one is "28 Days Later".

watch House of 1000 Corpses
then watch
Devil's Rejects...
in that order, devil's rejects is the sequel... they are awesome and directed by Rob Zombie so you know they are good!

hahaha, i have to agree with echelon, Showgirls is pretty scary too (just horrible acting, but a lot of boobs so i guess if you like that kind of stuff... you might like it!)

exorcist always did it for me, but if your into gory flicks then yeah try the new ones like hostel, or the hills have eyes. those are more thrillers than scary though.
