First Aid kits (more than one), garbage bags, Bear Mace (or gun), and Toilet Paper!

A few not-so-obvious things:
hammer (for tent stakes)
broom (sweeping the dirt out of your tent)
fire extinguisher (came in handy once when a dumpster caught fire)
advil, antacids (good if there will be drinking)
warm clothes (even if it's summer and you don't think you'll need them)
wire brush (to clean the grill grate if they have a grill)

It's hard to say what's obvious but I list a few things I don't like to be without.
Swim Suite ( usually there's a lake or stream)
Fire Starter or lighter fluid ( less hassle to start a fire)
A portable BBQ
Mosquito repellent
Sunscreen
Lots of plastic bags ( put all your stuff in plastic bags in case it rains)
a Hammock
Some sort of bucket (to get dishwater)
and fun things to do.

wet wipes, they can clean everything from dirty hands to the picinic tables. A camera. Extra towels and plastic bags to put wet clothes in or store anything in. Extra ice, water and beer.

first aide kit, flash light, bug dope. stuff like that anything you can think of for "well just in case" . good luck and have fun! Pack me up with you I wanna go!
