Because we have an all volunteer military. If they don't want to serve, they don't have to volunteer. It is not on the poor that serve in the military. If the poor don't want to serve, they don't have too either. money has nothing to do with military service.
I am praying for the day that our country adopts a mandatory military, or mandatory public service requirement for our citizens. Then maybe crime will decline and all those useless grunge heads out there might develope some self esteem and respect for other humans.

Because they're too busy doing what their dad did during his college days: partying, drinking, doing drugs - and knowing full well that if they get caught, 'daddy' will 'take care of it', just like G.W.'s daddy did for him.

Besides, why should the Bush kids go over to Iraq and risk getting blood on their hands? G.W. can just keep sending soldiers to keep on dying for all that OIL that Cheney wants!

The Bush dynasty is filled with spoiled rich kids who aren't accountable for their actions, and don't have a clue what it's like to live in the 'real' world. This family is evil, corrupt, and crude.
They seem to believe that the world owes them a lavish living, regardless of how many others might have to die. G.W.'s kids are no different that their parents or grandparents. They're all slime that - if thrown into a Louisiana swamp - would be thrown back by the pondscum!

Without his family's money, influence and power, George Bush couldn't have been elected dogcatcher. But with the help of his brother in Florida and his dad's influence at the Supreme Court, G.W. was able to conveniently steal an election (or two). -RKO-

The President and his wife have two daughters, and no sons. Like the large majority of Americans, his daughters did not sign up for the military.

Because they have enough money to avoid military service. The only people that join the military either need health insurance, money or, from what I've noticed is a very small group, actually -want- to be there.

I would say that maybe the armed services were not part of the life plan even before their father became President

you know i was wondering the same thing?? You never see them sign up for military service. Would Bush send his little beans over there to fight in Iraq??Hell no he wouldn't! Funny how every other American can have their sons and daughters dying and fighting for those ungrateful camel lovers but send his girls-never never!!!
Damn good question dear!!!

They aren't in the military, so they don't participate. Our commander and chief is a civilian, so his or her relationship with the military is always going to be strained.

Because the United States Army is a voluntary organization and they didn't want to volunteer.

That was a stupid question.

Because Bush's children are daughters, and it's predominantly men who are serving in Iraq.

Bush is a draft-dodger, I'm sure his children have a similar sense of entitlement as their Nazi father.
