I live in England in a small town called Totton which is next to the New Forest National Park. The nearest city is Southampton which is about 10 miles away, where I used to live and work before moving here 20 years ago.

I was born in Walthamstow which is a suburb of London and I have traced my ancestors back over 200 years and found that basically all of them lived in the same area of north-east London.

I have traced the origins of my surname back over 500 years and it seems it originated in Scotland on the Island of Uist or possibly in the northern part of Ireland.
