I am in high school and just got a job, yet my parents still won't allow me to get a cell phone. They constantley have been telling me how proud they are of me, and I don't want to ruin my chances of me getting what I'd like by not reconsidering my asking options. Please help.

Just get a pre paid...that is what happened with me..but my mom finally just bought me a pre-paid...and since you have a job..its a great thing to do, because you buy your own minutes...just go to your parents nicely..but repeately..I hope I helped you today

if you just got a job, save up until you have enuf to buy phone/service and pay for it yourself, then talk to your parents again.
