scan for adware, spyware and virus'
get regvac to clean up the registry,
get avg from www.grisoft.com for free antivirus.
get zonealarm for a free firewall..
look up computer security online, read up a bit, couple hours at most and become security aware to learn to keep your info safe.

You might have spyware on your computer. I don't recommend you going and finding it yourself. Take your computer into your local computer shop and I'm sure they'll be able to fix your problem pretty cheaply. I had the same problem you did, but I just factory reinstalled everything and transfered the items that I wanted to keep to an outer harddrive and transfered them back after the reboot. My computer runs a whole lot better now.

Try removing the program then reinstall it. Also, clean up your system, get rid of spyware, and check for viruses. That could be why it's getting slow.
