Why is Rachael Ray's voice so raspy?

She talks too damn much and is wearing out her vocal cords.

Who knows. Everyone's voice sounds different so I guess it's just the way her vocal cords developed. Maybe she's a smoker.

she talks really loud...screams really on her shows and smokes a lot
