My husband is emotionally abusive to me. I have thought about leaving for all those reasons and more for a long time now. Running into my true love again did help push the feeling a little harder though. I dated my true love for 4 years and over the past 10 years we keep "out of nowhere" running and all the same feelings remain. We were young, taht's why we broke up. I was ready to settle down and he wasn't and then I met my husband and we got engaged in six months.

Chesney, Girrrrrrrl, You tell me? Yes by all means if you can not work out you r situation with you rhusband then go ahead and resolve the marriage before it gets any harder. But if you leave, leave you rhusband for you not for another man. Because then that will never work out. Then after having some time to find out who you are again then go for your true love. First take some time for you.

I think I am married to my true love and soon to be separated from him, but I would do it all over again if given the chance. True love does not last forever there is no fairy tales weddings and probably no happily ever after. If you are in a bad marriage get out by any and all means necessary.

I really think that life is too short to be in a bad situation. Marriage is a serious thing, so if you think you can love the person and be happy, that is the best way to go. Still, if you feel like you will never be happy with this person than you should move on with your life.

First off, If your in a bad marriage then either fix it or get divorced. Then you can go for the second chance with your 'true love'

give more details, please. Didn't you "truly love" the one you married? If so, doesn't that make him your true love? Or is this someone you met after being married. What is bad about your marriage? Remember, there's a reason they are called 'ex's" if it's someone B4 your spouse. Sure, lots of people loved someone b4 they met the one they married, but there is generally a reason why we didn't marry our ex; what was yours? then think about why you married your spouse. what has changed? Have you talked about it at all?

End the marriage before stepping forward with another man. Cheating is not the way to go... Who would ever want to start a relationship based on lies????

I would take it with both hands. BUT I would sit down with my spouse and tell them the reasons why I am leaving. If you are going to end your marriage, end it the right way.

Who wouldn't ? True love is like a pearl in an oyster, one in a million .We have one life . If we are not leading it happily we should at least keep making efforts to make it better or to move to a new path .

Don't be silly--make you're husband your true love--then you'll both be happy. Who is in charge? You or your feelings? It's called commitment and self-discipline--check it out. I.e., have feelings--don't let feelings have you.
(P.S. I'm with eyematch--get in or get out. It's the middle of the road that's dangerous.)
