That was the age I first has sex. It was with someone I loved very much. Not that that has always been the case. If it's important to you remember there is only 1 first time. Also, sex is a pretty driving force once you start. Studying can easily take a back seat (initially no pun intended). We're sexual beings so it's a big part of what makes us and feels good. If you don't want to have sex yet and don't that shows a lot of self discipline. That applied at school will help you succeed there.

There is no time limit that you have to meet to have sex. Whenever you are ready and you find the right guy then do it. Otherwise, I would continue to wait until I was sure of what I wanted to do. Right now it doesn't sound like you are a that point yet. You should be proud to be a virgin. Not many of us can still say that!!! Stay strong and take your time. You have the right to be picky it's your body we are talking about.

There's not much difference, I suppose, other than the increased likelihood of having a serious, mature relationship after you're through with college.

My personal recommendation: wait until you're married. That's what I'm doing, and I'm 21.

Wait until you are with someone who will treat you with respect and use protection. Don't do anything just because you think you should and don't just bed hop!

I still remember the names and birthdays of every girl I ever went with before I got married - and am still friends with some. It's about respect and anyone who tries to get into your pants without being someone you can be with WITHOUT that isn't worth the time of day.

I would wait until after marriage. Think about how complicated it would be if you accidentally had a baby. You think... o.. im ready, or O... it wont happen because I am careful. But trust me!! It does! That is the best way to go. By the way... I am proud of you for coming this far! =)

Everyone matures at a different rate. The fact that you are asking this question leads me to believe that you are not ready. THAT"S FINE. You will know when the time is right. Just don't allow yourself to be pressured by friends and you'll be okay.

I'm 26. I did it for fist time at 17. I would definitely wait until my middle 20's!!! Trust me. You'll feel like a slut, then you'll regret "waisting" yourself at 17.

if you don't wait until marriage, at least wait until after your freshman year of college. It's amazing how many girls get turned out their freshman year by upperclass guys who make a sport out of getting freshman girls (especially virgins).
