i too had this happen when i was pregnant w/my son. i could feel his chest expanding, my only thought would be that becuse the baby by now is probably head down, the hiccups add extra pressure to the area down there. the baby is pretty big by now so you can really start to feel it all! if in doubt call your doc though. can't be too careful of you think something maybe not going smoothly!

I am 30 weeks and before then I can feel the hiccups too. It is the way the baby is positioned.

LOL! It means your baby has the hiccups. It's perfectly normal. He jumps, he puts pressure on you, you feel it. You're stuffed full of baby - you have no extra room in there to absorb hiccup motion!

Good luck to you!

I had a baby girl this past March......she hiccupped the WHOLE time I was pregnant. ( She still hiccups, now and then..) It just means that your baby is growing and it's perfectly normal, weird feeling, but normal. Congratulations and good luck to you!!!!!!

I used to love when my son got the hiccups when I was pregnant with him. He used to get them just about every day. I don't think you have anything to worry about :)

My daughter is 11 months old and that feeling is still fresh in my mind. Its a very normal feeling. There is nothing wrong. The baby is getting bigger and you just have alittle more to go. The baby grows the most during this time, so every moment that the baby does will make you feel as though its going to come out...but it won't. I hope this helps.

LoL... I am pretty sure this is normal. My girlfriends daughter had the hiccups practically the entire time she was in the womb. I'm sure teh baby is fine... but if you're uncomfortable talk to your doctor about it.

Very normal to feel them having hiccups. If you are getting pressure on your cervix then it MIGHT mean that he is low and starting to get his head engaged in your pelvis.

It almost sounds like the baby is working his way into the birth canal. You are pretty close to birthing. Is this your first??
