you go down to your local game shop that sells those things, you pick one up, take it to the counter, give the person the correct amount of money, walk out of the store, get in your car go home and voliola you have a playstation 3... was it really THAT hard?

you can pre order them from stores like best buy.com and circuit city, but i don't think they will let you pre order them until the day the release them. That's what happened with the xbox 360s
