This is just a side note. The Nvidia Geforce Go 7600 is much better than the ATI Radeon Xpress 200M. 200M is used in the 400 dollar laptops also and is not good for gaming.

First of all, if you are intending to play games, then the AMD version with the Xpress 200M is a horrible choice. I don't know what the difference in price is, if any but if you can afford the Intel version with the 7600 Go, that's the one I would get. That is... provided it is a Core Duo processor. And get yourself at least 1GB of memory. Avoid the Xpress 200M at all costs, ALL COSTS.

This is definitely a solid laptop, BUT, it may depend on your performance needs. For most, this should be sufficient, since the processor is great and it has 1GB of RAM. Also, you almost never see 200GB hard drives. I recommend it, especially because of the price. The screen is nice. PC Mag agrees. Here's what they have to say. http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1759,1870375,00.asp

Go for the AMD one with the Mobile Turion ML-40. Some places less than $1,000. Both should be Open GL

A note on the other comments: the 200M is not a great graphics card, but for the price of the laptop, it is fine considering the other features. Besides, it is much better than integrated graphics and most people don't need a good graphics card. Also, the ML-40 has two cores too.
