I'm not saying Arkansas will win for sure but they were killed 70-17 last year, and now is a good time to get some payback now that they have them on their field. They're the most improved team in college football and I like there chances at an upset... what do you think???

This is college football, you have to take into account that USC wont be playing their best ball the first game of the year !!! They want jell into about week 4 or 5 !!! And Arkansas has recruited very well the past 3 years !!! I'm telling you it could get very interesting !!

To Gonzodog:
That was all the way back in 2002 !!! We all knew that Auburn were a bunch of underacheviers back then. They were always being ranked in the top 5 every year and by week 6 they were ousted. It was only in 2004 when they were ranked preseason #19 that they finally started to put it together. Carnell and Ronnie were still wet behind the ears in 02' and they had no receivers, but they still only loss 24-17. USC had Carson Palmer, Mike Williams, Keary Colbert, Justin Fargas (SR. RB) Troy Polomlu... the list goes on !!! And they barely escaped !!! The SEC has way more speed than the PAC 10 is used to seeing... remember that !!

That would be something to see, my friend.I am aTennessee alum and fan,so I pull for most SEC schools except Auburn,Florida,Bama, and Carolina. That would probably keep Nutt in Fayetteville for a while. My upset special: Hogs 23,USC 20.

Well, I'm a huge SC fan but I can say it's going to be a lot closer than 70-17. USC will have a new quarterback, RB, and new O linemen as well as defensive people so if there was ever a time to jump on the Trojans it would be game number 1. I'd say the score will be 37-24.

Can't wait for the season to start!!!

One comment - see the Auburn / USC match up a couple of years ago.
Auburn was ranked preseason #1, the game was at Auburn, and USC had a completely new offensive backfield. As I recall, Auburn never recovered that season.

They maybe thinking it, but it will still be a buttkicking. I am a Bama alum, so I would love nothing better than to see an SEC team hand the trojans a beat down, but I don't think the hogs are going to do it.

Could be, since Reggie Bush is a Saint now. Matt is gone too.

I'am a Florida Gator and Seminoles and Virginia Tech fan.

If you're thinking revenge, quit dreaming. It'll be a lot closer though, I'm thinking maybe they'll keep it within 3 scores. I'm guessing it'll be 45-28.

Can't deny the recruiting Pete Carrol has been doing. Talent, talent, talent.

theres no doubt there thinking it, but theyre not going to win.
Usc brings back alot of the defense ..The lack of talent at running back could hurt, but they still have a reep receiving core and they have 2 all americans at O-line

USC is still loaded. And they'll have bar-b-que hog for lunch on September 2.

As someone else said, they might be thinking it, but they're not going to get it.

Well, they will get it, but not the "it" they think they're getting. 42-14 Trojans.
