Dell laptop computer - Inspiron 5100?

Question

Can the hard drive from this model be installed in other Dell laptop models, if so, which ones. Do not reply with only a yes or no answer, and only answer if you truly can help.

As the hard drive Dell uses in it Inspirion model is a relatively standard size with (again) a relatively standard connector (mini IDE) it will fit in many other laptops. But without knowing what model you want to put it in, can not give you a "yes" or "no". But I would say the odds are good. Repost with the laptop you want to move it too also and then we might be able to answer for sure. (That's like asking "Will my shoes fit another person?" - Depends on the person)
