It's close, but I'm going to say Deion Sanders. Remember early in his career when he was playing baseball? The Falcons were pretty bad and would have a 1-3 or 0-4 record. The Braves' or Reds' season would come to an end on Friday. Deion would put the pads on for Sunday's game and have an interception or a punt return in a Falcon victory. A couple of months later, the Falcons would be in the playoff hunt. Yes, he was a hot dog. But I'm not sure if I've seen anything like him. If you take the kickoff or punt returns away, I might go with either Darrell Green or Rod Woodson. As some has mentioned, Deion was not much of a tackler.

Until someone else can do it,the 1972 Miami Dolphins 17-0 team is still the greatest! Many great players on that team too along with a great head coach.

The Miami Dolphins team that went undefeated in the 1970's don't remember the year. They were unstoppable with Kick and Csonka running all over everybody. And a great defense -- I thinkthey called it the no name defense...only undefeated team ever!

1972 Miami Dolphins because they went undefeated and you will never see another team in the NFL do that ever again.
