They dont think that's the problem.they think its cool and grown up and yeah all they are doing is playing house . until those bills start coming in and they have a young en on their side and they got to go to work just to pay bills and to feed and clothe the baby and gas money to go to all those places they think they can go because they grown and dont really know how much it takes on gas now but its fine till the money is gone.

I believe they really think it's easy. Remember, when you are young you think you know it all. Unfortunately, it takes life's beat downs to make you realize how truly hard it can be. What kids need to realize is that your childhood shouldn't be something you rush out of. This is a part of your life that you will never, ever be able to re-live. Adulthood will be there until the day you die, so when I see young people rushing into adulthood, I feel very sad for them, because I would give anything in the world to bring those days back.

just posted to the same Q you did. I can't believe anybody is anwering her Q's like there's even a hint of truth in them! It's crazy! I think it's alittle bit of both; they want to be grown up and do the fun adult things, (or at least what they think will be fun, like have babies) and they think things will be so great when they have their own house, can do what they want, etc. I think they are obviously not being taught the responsibility that comes with all those things. That's why I try to teach my kids the value of money, and that having a child takes a lot of work; it's not all fun and games! That kid (if it really is a kid) is in for a very rude awakening when the real world hits, for sure!

I did not answer her question wish I had seen it. I left home at 17, but it was abusive. At 17 I thought I was an adult but through abuse I also had grown up a great deal. When I was 22 I was the mother of a special child again made to grow up more. But maturity really has no age and your right at that age they want to hear not the truth but they are right and it will all be OK. Have a good one.

They want to rush in to things because parents don't teach them well. Raising anything should start from the beginning. It's never too soon to start teaching them. There should be a handbook that every has to follow; since, it does affect the rest of the world.

kids don't know the depth of a relationship they just see the togetherness not whole picture of what it really takes to stay together and to make it work . That is why they go from person to person.
