Every single book i read gives something to me as a person, when im changed as a person, i change teh way i look at life. The most recent books are the karamazov btothers and the idiot by dostoevsky, the master and margarita by bulgakov, sidharta, Demian and Steppenwolf by Hermann Hesse, Faust by Goethe, One Hundred Years of Loneliness by Marquez. I;d suggest some lithuanian authors but im kinda sure you wont find tehir books in english..

The Left Behind series changed the way I look at life, though ultimately I don't think the end of the world will be quite like the way those are written, they are very good books.

I've read many books but the ones that changed my perceptions the most are by Madeleine L'Engle: "A Wrinkle in Time", "A Wind in the Door", and "A Swiftly Tilting Planet." My other life changing book was "Mere Christianity" by C.S. Lewis which gives a sound, logical argument for Christianity.

Siddhartha by Herman Hesse. This is a beautifully written story of the journey of a man's life to find enlightenment. You'll travel with him and discover a new way to look at time, meaning, universality, and the possibility to timelessness.

Read "THE MONK WHO SOLD HIS FERRARI" by Robin Sharma. This is the best book I have ever read and best you can find in the market. This book has changed many lives even mine. Many books suggest concepts and gives theories. But this book gives direct steps to explain us so that we can directly bring all those principles into our life.

To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. Awesome and classic literature.
Also, Kissing Doorknobs (i forgot the author). Very inspiring about a girl suffering from OCD (obssessive compulsive disorder). it's really sad, though.
