I know exactly what you are going through My daughter was 2 when i noticed a rash that spread all over her body i freaked and rushed her to her doctor. The doctor didn't think it was the measles since they are so rare no a days but i kept on pushing when nothing seemed to help her rash. I understand you completely my husband and i searched the net like crazy trying to figure out what to do and there really isn't much you can so. As long as the baby doesn't develop other symptoms. Stay strong and things will get better.

My daughter didnt get measles, however she did have a reaction to her MMR shot giving what looked like the German Measles and itched just the same. She was super uncomfortable for about a week. We just did the oatmeal baths and covered her in calamine lotion.
Keep her cool to keep the itching down... and those flavor-ice push pops make for great distractions. Just get the extra mommy and me time in to keep her from being too uncomfortable and to keep her mind off of it.
Hope i helped.

I live in ks and it went around here not too long ago. I didn't hear of anyone dying. I asked my doc and he said as far as childhood illnesses go that it's not the worst for him to get. he didn't end up getting it but just having it around was scary for me. I'm sure you are quite worried. just do what the dr says and comfort your baby. she won't understand and will want her mommy. good luck!

aw... poor baby. hang in there and just comfort her as much as possible. my son didn't get the measles, just chicken pox. all you can do is be extra nurturing at such a time. good luck.

She'll probably be fine. If the doctor isn't worried then you shouldn't be either. Kids get that sometimes, it's just life.
