go back to your doctor and keep going back til they help you. there are plenty of treatments and your hrt may not be right for you. look up your nearest women's centre and see if they can offer advise and i'd also try a herbalist. sorry you're suffering.

As you well know - the symptoms are mostly hormonal. Although HRT can alleviate many symptoms - for some women it is simply not enough.
In my family - mother, aunts, grandmothers - not hormonal therapy worked - for the past two years my mum has adjusted her diet and been taking supplements such as Rose Hip and St. John's Wort - along with a few others.
Speak to a natural health practitioner and your Dr. to see what works for you - there is also a topical HRT lotion or cream that seems to have better effects than the oral applications.
Remove caffeine and refined sugars and flours from you diet - these can cause wild fluctuations in hormone levels also.
Do be sure to go to your Dr. with any advice/ suggestions you receive. This is merely our collective experience.
Good luck - keep the freezer cranked and flash it every now and again!
:)

Check with your doctor - you shouldn't be having these sx if on HRT. Your dosage may need to be adjusted.

Joan your dosage is too high, you do normally get those symptoms but they should be mild and not all the time...go see your doctor, and don't take any rubbish of him, you want it sorted. Sadly GP's just cant be bothered in general nowadays.

if you have a paddiling pool, fill it up with cold water.... put loads of ice-cubes in it while sipping water with more ice-cubes.... that's the life!
