I was on a message board the other day where some else put up a similar link. Believe it or not, it was even more graphic than what I just saw on your link.
I sat here for a few minutes, just stunned I think. I replied to the person that posted it, and had to leave the message board. I was sickened.
The problem here is that the whole world, it seems, is losing it.
We have America in Iraq, we have N.Korea attempting to threaten people ( including the US ) and we have this Israel and Lebanon war going on. Not to mention the separation that is happening between our own people. Everyone is very adamant about their views, be it one way or the other. We have the immigration "debates". We have the stem cell "debates". We have the war "debates". We have the terrorists to be concerned with. And where is OBL ?
I believe people are becoming calloused to "new events". It's brain overload.
I'm not saying that I am pro or con anything here. But I will agree with you in saying that the pictures are VERY disturbing. Too disturbing for me to ever look at again.
Your question re: Arabs being perceived as animals in the eyes of the West..........I have to say that some of them are. But wouldn't you agree to say that that is true of just about any country?
People, including children, are being killed every day. Yes, I feel for them. I also feel for the parents of these children.
Unfortunately, we are talking about war, and as horrible as it is, it still happens.

Let's take a step back and look at this conflict from a not-so-emotional standpoint:
* Hezbollah kidnaps soldiers
* Hezbollah fires rockets indiscriminately into Isreal cities without really aiming (deliberate civilian killings in my eyes)
* Isreal tries to seek and destroy rocket launcher sites via airstrikes and artillery (self-defense)
* Isreal also attempts to knock out Hezollah installations and Lebanon infrastructure (this is where accidents invariably happen and civilians get caught in air/artillery strikes)
I really do feel for the civilian deaths and heartache on BOTH sides, but I think Isreal is objectively the more noble combatant in this conflict. They just need to be more prudent in their target selection (eg: stop bombing bridges and other infrastructure that will not do much to stop Hezbollah but endangers civilians). I say the Isrealis should work with the Lebanese gov't to agree upon an invasion of lower Lebanon to secure all Hezbollah rocket launching sites such that northern Isreal stops getting bombarded. Then when things are secure, Isreal pulls out and negotiates for the captured soldiers to be returned. That plan would probably not go over well with Lebanon gov't though.
edit:
bbmorse: That site is disgusting, but could it be any more biased?
Weinstein: You can't be for real, are you? If so, you are sick.

I dont know why some people cannot look at the situation and see the Israel was not the one who started the fight.
Israel would like nothing more to live in peace, but when you have Hezbollah making a raid acroos the border killing 8 soliders and capturing two soliders, they wanted to fight. Israel is just responding.
Maybe the arabs should take care of Hezbollah themselfs, that would solve most of the problem.
The Govt of Lebanon is also at fault here, they have done Nothing to get rid of Hezbollah in their country, they allow Hezbollah to run the southern half of Lebanon.
So dont ask me to support the people of Lebanon,, until they take care of the terrorist that brings this misery upon them.

You are perfectly right, entities that slaughter innocents should be attacked! I thought that was why Israel was attacking Lebanon. Many terrorists out of nearly every Arab country has commited acts of agression and slaughter resulting in the deaths of innocents, including women and children. Don't get me wrong, Israel has as well of course, and so has nearly every other country in the world that has military power, even in the last 50 or so years, and this of course includes American 'accidental' attacks on civilians. Obviously you cannot attack everyone who is guilty, because no one is innocent to take that position. Thus, we are in this position now, and it continues.

You are 100% correct. I would think that these pictures would move even the hardest hearts. Apparently not the psychopathic idiotic people such as Mr Weinstein. Even if he believed that way I don't know how he could actually admit it publically. Thank God there is no "Jewish conversion", there are already too many of you.

I am a Jew and was always raised to believe Gentiles are nothing but animals. Your pictures do not make me sick or sad. Jews are the chosen people and deserve to have everything we have plus more. It was Hezzbolah that is to blame for the new war. They are terrorists and God is giving Jews the power to destroy anyone who comes in our path. The pictures are nothing but dead animals. I think many Jews I know would feel the same way.

I don't know why, in America at least, Israel is "right" and Palestinians are "wrong". Really, I think if anybody's wrong in this problem, its the Israelis.
