It provides the intellectual stimulation that work may not provide. You have to understand many individuals work at jobs that don't engage the mind or where the freedom to express ideas is curtailed. Forums like Yahoo Answers provide a venue that engages the mind (depending on the question) and allows for freedom of expression.

nothing better to do. 9:30 to 5:30. work in the A.M. the rest of the days i answer foolish questions. very entertaining. i feel like a psych. and i'm getting paid for it. who's better than me.
