Nobody has promised that a comet will wipe us out. They are only saying that over the next millions or billions of years that there is a good chance that a comet or asteroid big enough to cause serious damage to Earth could hit. But it is only a chance, it is not certain. And no comet has been observed to be on a collision course yet. It is a little like asking when you will be killed in a traffic accident. You may not be killed that way, but there is a chance. And there is no car that we can now identify that is about to hit you.

If this comet were lumeing over us right now it would be on the news daily. I would say also the money opportunist would be taking advantage of the situation and be out there on the streets selling popcorn and soda and binoculars and I don't know what all to this humongous event.
Since it isn't lumeing over us stop worrying. It will do you no good and the worry will rob you of many wonderful years of your life. It is your life so you choose- enjoy it or suffer through it.

God is waiting for the Anti-Christ to show up, he will decieve the world the christians will leave exit stage left and then the comet can come destory the rest of the world along with the anti-christ.

We're actually much more likely to be done in by an Asteroid than a comet...there a billions of them on more wild orbits than comets...and they are harder to see...they don't light up when the sun's heat hits them.

Hello! be pratical it will take many light years to come and about destroying the earth part we just can't know yet because who know what it do when it actually come to us because it can change course or it might just hit another planet instead of our planet. or it should have destroyed way before.
