I don't get it either. Personnally I would rather not "air" any of my dirty laundry. Perhaps it is for revenge or maybe they have an overwhelming need for attention, be it negative or positive. If people would stop watching the shows they wouldn't create new ones. Cross your fingers that people get bored doing other people's laundry.

I have wondered about this too. I could never do that nor go on one to talk about myself. I think they get a free plane trip and paid hotel stay. That is the only reason I can see for doing that.

i always wondered why too. maybe it's the only way to get through to them? or wait, aren't most of these guys paid actors? like jerry springer guest? if not, then they have some real problems ><
