I suspect (as has already been suggested) that the DHCP service on the router isn't running, and the PC's are all using APIPA (Automatic Private IP Addressing) which could give them ALL the same IP address---check tis on at least 2 of them by opening a command prompt (start menu/run/type in CMD and press enter) and type the command
ipconfig /all
and press enter. If they both have the same address ( most likely 169.254.x.x with a sub-net mask of 255.255.0.0) then this is true.
You'll then have to look in the manual for the router, or visit the Belkin web site, for details of how to start DHCP on your particular model. Once you have that sorted, just ensure that the client PC's are congigured to acquire an IP address automatically and you're all sorted : )

Do what I did got annoyed rang the helpline was on phone over an hour and got nowhere fast.
My problems started when I used the Belkin router wireless utility instead of windows to connect. may I suggest just start again using windows configuration just do what you did before had router connected to computer 1 then set it up again and then connect the other 2 .

the belkin should have it's dhcp server enabled and your pcs should be getting thier ip address from dhcp - not statically configure.
if all of that is already set then check the dhcp range that is set on the belkin router.

Funny thing to hear from a software engineer. Your laptop will not effect her. If she does not feel safe, from you or anyone else, there are many ways to protect the wireless signals, WAP/WAP2... There are many thing she should do, seeing as she is a software engineer, I dont understand why she is worried. If you question was about interference, then its trivial. But as long as you dont have the wireless routers within a meter of one another, you shouldnt have a problem.

go to one of the computers. go to control panel, then network connections. then go to local area connection. click on properties. go to internet protocol (tcp/ip). then click use the following IP address. use your same ip address, but change the last number to one number higher than that.
