It is horrible. I am not a fan of the everyone has to play and there aren't any cuts. I played Little League and we had cuts and if you weren't good, you didn't play. Thanks for the monetary donation from your parents. Parents are out of control. Kids don't listen. The kids that do usually end up hating the sport because of their parents or coaches.
I assisted my nephew's team and it was so annoying having parents try to dictate what to do. We would have practice and actually tell parents to leave and come back in two hours.
Its horrible.

I hate how parents get so rowdy during games. When i was playing Little League Baseball we came one tournament away from going to the Little League World Series and that was a geat experience. But, the parents were awful when we played and the umpire actually threw some parents out. For god sakes we were only 11 and 12 years old. All we cared about was going to the pool after the game or who was going to sleep over that noght. The parents are what makes little league baseball no fun.

When I was a kid playing Little League Baseball, the kids all got together in the middle of the season and went on strike. The parents in the stands were so bad, that we said that we wouldn't play unless the parents were banned from the games. We played our last four games of the season and the playoff in front of empty bleachers.

I hear ya - I'm a HUGE baseball fan. However, one of the absolute WORST experiences of my life came when I used to umpire little league baseball games. I'd call balls and strikes and would have grown men cuss me out in front of little 11 and 12 year old kids. I had to throw some guys out of the game - including the president of the league's husband because he acted like a major league manager and kicked dirt all over the plate and got in my face. It definately wasn't worth it considering I didn't get any respect and got paid $20 a game.

I love little league baseball, I used to play when I was a kid, there's nothing like little league ball on Long Island in the summer. I can't wait until my little boy is old enough to play!

My son was in competitive soccer. I found some parents rather rude and vulgar. At one point, they decided that they needed to bring drums and bullhorns to the games. It was rather annoying, and I had to move. The children on the field do not really hear the rabble on the sidelines. It appears that the parents are entertaining themselves and are trying to see who can be the loudest. My children (18 & 14) referee children’s’ soccer. My children are there to learn. The children on the field are there to learn. The league has to set some parent guidelines. Parents, coaches, and players should be asked to leave the field if they are rude. In the local soccer league, ANYONE that is rude can be asked to leave the field. They are also reported to the league.

it's for the kids. screw the parents and the coaches if they can't handle themselves in respectable way.
Take some headphones with you and block out the noise. Baseball is good to a soundtrack.

Those little league games keep your brother from joining a gang or becoming a criminal at an early age

i can see where your commin' from.. being with all those obnoxious parents and coaches..
it's good for the kids though.. it teaches them about life and teamwork.. and it gives them something they can learn to love their whole life (baseball)
little league brings back memories.. luckily for me it was a good experience.. i only played one year but my team went 17 and 1 and we won the championships
i lost the only game ball i ever got in my backyard =(
