Wow. Hell of a question! My first thought was that I'd want to bring back my mother, who died at 22 from taking the polio vaccine, and I was very young and don't remember her.

Then I got to thinking about the people that I DID know, and thought of my grandparents, and more specifically my grandfather. He's the one who probably comes to mind the most often in my life, the one I mention to people the most.

He would be enthralled with the technology today. I can remember him being amazed when he could drive down the highway at 60 miles an hour - he'd say, "We're traveling a mile a minute!!!!!" and be so excited! He was born in 1906 and cars just didn't go very fast most of his life. I remember when we went to Yellowstone Nat'l Park when I was nine, and he sat in the motel room for hours afterward, drawing on paper and trying to understand or explain just how Old Faithful could erupt with such regularity. The man only had an eighth grade education, but he wasn't dumb by a long shot. I remember when Mazda came out with their rotary engine cars, he had to run right out and buy one, because the technology was so new and innovative! Hahaha.

He died in 1974, when technology was still coming into its own, and microwave ovens were brand new things. He couldn't leave them alone, lol. Can you even imagine what the internet and other advances in the years since his death would do to him? Wow. He'd love it!

So he's the one I'd want to bring back - as much for his enjoyment as my getting to watch his delight as he discovered all these things.

And I miss him, but I guess you could maybe tell.

I would like to bring back my PapPap. (my grandfather) He died when I was only 2 years old and I don't rmemeber him. From what I've been told he was the glue that held our family together and kept it in line. Eleanor (his wife...I am no longer allowed to call her anything else because she disowned me) has been a horrible, nasty person lately. She enjoys gossiping, creating drama and starting fights between the family. If my PapPap were alive he would never allow this to happen. The maybe we could be a real family once again. Take care and I hope you have an amazing day!

Question....for those of you who said Jesus....I thought you believed he died on the cross and then arose from the dead and lives on??????

I'd bring back my dad, because I miss him sooo much, each and every day. I'd want him to see how my life's going (and my brother's, sister's, and mom's lives), and meet all my friends. He died when I was only 6, so he could see all the changes that have happened since then. . .

I would like to bring back my kid brother Ryan. He did in a car accident October 2004. My Daughter was only 2 at the time and we use to always joke saying just wait another few years and Zelia (My Daughter) will be saying Uncle Ryan please take me to McDonalds. It was his favorite place to eat and he would always give her his fries. Not even two years have gone by and she love's McDonals just as much as he ever did. My Brother was only 19. I miss him every much. However I think I would be very gready to bring him back in seeing he now gets to meet my Grandmother Zelia, to which we have never meet.

to reanimate a dead body is not only difficult but disgusting due to the decomp that has happened. u'd have to be some necromancer or something. people who are dead must stay dead. if u're christian then u obviously think that u can meet them when u go to heaven.

but yeah i get what u're saying. *sigh* it's always so hard....
