Most people dont hate jews, or judaism...me personally i highly respect both. The only thing i do hate however which is sadly associated with their name unfortunatly are Zionists. But just like the Muslims have the few bad apples that give them the stereotype of Terrorist, some zionists give off the same vibe, except for the jews.

My answer is a bit subtler. I believe the reason why many groups don’t care for Jews is because they are one of the few cultures’, through the centuries, that has not completely assimilated into the global community. When any other culture is submerged into a foreign one, after a few generations, they meld into the customs of that culture. Of all the various sects of people, Jews have been one of the few groups that have resisted this predilection to conform.

Don’t get me wrong, there are plenty of Jews that are completely secularized and are indistinguishable from the culture’s they occupy, but in relation to other religions and groups of people, they have done a better job of not conforming to the world around them. As much as we lionize people who are atypical in movies, books, and art, in real life we tend to like conformists, and the Jews have been intrepid enough not to gel into the rest of society. Ironically it is their greatest trait, the very trait we idolize in heroes, that is the single cause of most the acrimony against them.

You should think before composing a question like that. Read the bible. The displeasure goes back that far. In a very short version. The 2 sons of Isaac one Jacob remained in Israel and one Ishmael was outcasted. Ishmael began the displeasure of Israel.

I don't hate them and I don't know anyone else that does. Jewish people are just like the rest of us, there are good ones and bad ones. Don't allow yourself to miss out on some wonderful friendships, with good people, just because they aren't like you. What a shame it would be if everyone thought like that, nobody would like anybody but themselves, because no two people are exactly alike.

Who do you define as "people", europe?
In the US the vast majority of people support Israel. Europe is another story, the UN is the modern gathering place for antisemitics that were once located in the nazi party and behind the iron curtain.
