I had a little white bump to the front of my piercing. I was told it was just a piece of the tongue that was pushed up by the needle. I was instructed to brush the tongue around it gently, and within two days, the bump was brushed off completely. I got mine pierced 16 days ago. By this point, all pain, discomfort, and weird sights are gone.

I've had my tongue pierced for over 10 yrs and I don't remember having any bumps on my tongue. To help with the swelling I ate a lot of ice cream and Popsicles

Yes, totally normal. It will go away in time. I have had my tongue pierced for years.

yeah, the little bump should go away. i had mine pierced about 4 years ago and the pain was almost unbearable for the first few days. i literally ate baby food for a few days, and a lot of popsicles to help the swelling go down. but everything is cool now, and my wife LOVES it!!
