First thing to always check is the gas cap. It must be secure and "clicked" twice .
Sometimes the rubber seals goes and you need a new gas cap.
May take a few days/weeks before light goes off. Every car is different.
You can take it to auto-zone but their reader is not as accurate as pro models.

Check engine lights are liars!! Seriously I had a Nissan that the check engine light came on two years after I bought it and it never went off. I had it put on those expensive machines and several mechanics looked at it and nothing was ever wrong with it...turns out there was just a short in the wire telling the check engine light to come on. i wouldn't stress too bad about it if everything seems to be running fine. But, it wouldn't hurt to have a trustworthy mechanic to look at it ( if you can find one)

take it to autozone and have it tested, some kind of oxygen sensor or maybe egr valve.... or any number of reasons or look in a haynes manual , under diagnostic testing, check engine light and read, it will tell you how to test it yourself, at least it does on my cars, i dont have an infinity though.

It could be as simple as needing an oil change, or something could be really wrong, either way I would take it in and have it checked.

Take to Auto Zone. They will hook up to the computer and tell you exactly what the problem is. For Free.
