The CORRECT answer is that most multi-vitamins won't upset your stomach...if you take them with or just after consuming food. Many people take them first thing in the morning on an empty stomach... that's why the upset occurs.
If you are in a hurry and don't have time for breakfaast, take them with a glass of milk..this will coat the stomach long enough for the vitamins to dissolve.
If you are still having difficulty, there are liquid vitamin formulations available that will work just fine. Go to your local vitamin or health food store to check out the options...you'll be amazed at how vitamins have advanced.
Hope this info helps.

No.....people get upset stomachs after taking them usually if it's the first time they've taken vitamins, you're body isnt used to all the nutrients. It usually goes away after a while but you need to keep taking them.Try taking them with food, not on an empty stomach. If that doesnt work then cut them in half and take one half in the morning and the other half later in the afternoon or evening,I had to do that with my prenatals 4 years ago...I had never taken vitamins before and they made me sick. I don't know who ringocox is or whoever that was that made it sound like you dont need vitamins.....everyone should take vitamins, old or young, sick or not sick.....that person is an idiot.

Try taking it with food or right before bed. All multi-vitamins are rough on an empty stomach pretty much, but if food isn't working either try eating a piece of toast or crackers before bed and take it then. Thats what I had to do with a lot of meds when I was pregnant.

Next time you buy some vitamins be sure to check out what type of fillers are being used by the particular brand. Some companies use lactose as a filler so if you're lactose intolerant that's what you may be reacting to not the vitamin. Read the label to make sure there is nothing in the vitamin pill that you may react to negatively.

One-A-Day Mens worked for me when I used to take vitamins, just take them on a full stomach. I know some women have probelms with the women's vitamins because of the high iron contents.
