What would the U.S. look like if we went that high. Politics put aside. Do you think that we will ever go into economic depression?
If so describe average family life.

Interesting question. Lot's of possibilities there. We might go through some rough times for awhile, but hopefully would adjust and come up with smarter, safer ways to get from point A to point B. I do hope they are working on that before it bites us in the butt.

it always possible to go into another economic depression. look at the former President Bush, we were in recession and even though i was still in jr.high school, i knew it was hard to find a job because it took my mom 4 years to find a job after she graduated college.

if gas went up that high, it would not be possible because the oil companies will be prosecuted for price gouging which is illegal. i think the only people who will profit is the executives in the iol business

i'd get a job walking distance to me (i already commute close to an hour each way) there'd b NO way normal ppl could afford that. cities would be WAY crowded bc thats where all the work would be
