hajj is a pilgrimage performed by the muslims in a holy city of saudia arabia.he didn't perform any hajj because he refers himself as a non practical muslim(source-wikipedia).

But I don't think we should be so concerned what he does in his personal life...
Although "mahinur" may be right...if he DID go for Hajj..he would have had a spiritual realization from within, resulting in him definitely not being a "non-practicing" Muslim...had he really gone for Hajj...he would be "practicing" Islam...hmmm...your sources may not be right...
