I really want to try arguing for someone else right now, but I can't argue against Pujols.

Pujols is the best hitter in the league right now and if not for injuries we might talk about pujols beating babe ruths record. Yes thats right i said babe ruths record of 61 hr . Because that is the record for most hr in a season w/o using steriods. Bonds and big mac and sosa chased another record that pujols doesnt care to have and thats what makes him an even better player. I would say Manny Ramirez is the closest guy to him hitting wise but we all know manny cant field so overall i think its 1.Pujols 2.Beltran

I would say maybe Carlos Beltran; They both missed about two weeks of baseball; power numbers are close 31 to 27 in HR's; RBI's 83 to 78 in Pujols's favor; but, Beltran steals more bases and has a much more difficult position to monitor (CF as opposed to 1B) and the OBP and OPP is also really close; Pujols might be the best, but, Beltran gives him a better run the A-Rod.

Right now as far as all around hitter goes, no one can touch Albert Pujols. As far as the guy who mentioned Carlos Beltran, I am a HUGE Mets fan and Beltran's performance I think is a big reason the Mets enjoy an 11.5 game lead in the NL East but he doesn't hit for average the way Pujols does.
PS: Briansacow, Roger Maris holds the 61 homer record not the Babe

Right now, the Hottest player is Chipper Jones. But all-around, I would say either him, Vlad, or Ichiro. They all are good at D, they all have some power, and Ichiro has amazing speed. Vlad is better at running than Pujols, that's for sure. Pujols, Vlad, and Suzuki are the best in baseball.

Yep Joe Mauer is better than Albert Pujols, because of his avg. But I hope that he can soon hit 72+ home runs in a season because no one likes the steroid using Barry Bonds

Absolutely not. In his first 5 years, he had stats almost better than Gherig and DiMaggio in their first 5 years. A-Rod is a close second.

Big Papi gets as many if not more key hits in a tougher division.

Pujols is good but not the best. I'll say is between DAVID WRIGHT & BELTRON.
