I have fair skin, and even though I would like to be tan, it's not worth the risk of skin cancer (which my mom had), or having my skin look like dried leather when I'm 35. What do you think about girls with light skin?

I have skin so white that they don't make makeup that light, and personally, I love it. I've never tanned, I'm 33, and I look 10 years younger than I am with no wrinkles - of course, some of that is because of genetics, too. I've never had any problem getting a date because of it, either.
Anyone can be tan, but not everyone can have white alabaster skin. It works for Nicole Kidman, Elisha Cuthbert, Rachel McAdams, Gina Davis, and Scarlet Johansson.

wow, I can't even believe your asking that!!! Where is your self esteem? If your fair skinned, then know u look good period, and if you come across a guy that don't like it then duhhhh, that's not the guy for u!
I am fair skinned, never tanned, and it is my personality, not my looks that get the guys I want. Hey, when your 60, just think of how you'll look vs the tanners.
Stop hunting for the shallows that only go for looks, they will suffer later, believe me lol.

why are you asking guys this question? how good you look whether tan or anything else should come from inside you, not from a guy.
who cares how tan you are, like yourself the way you are.

I certainly think so. In fact, fake tan is worse than no tan at all.
