America will elect a woman as president once we've been presented with one that is electable and preferable to the other choices given. Hillary Clinton is neither electable or preferable to any of the potential Republican candidates, so we're probably looking at another decade or two before another woman comes along and inspires enough of America to become a viable candidate.

That sure is a loaded question.

I'll not make any opinions on the matter, but I will tell you what the polls say. The polls say that the U.S. citizens are ready for a female president. They say the U.S. citizens aren't actively looking for a female president, but are passively ready. But they also say, that Hillary is not the one. When placed in a mock election exercise against other candidates, both primaries and final elections, Hilary lost nearly every time. Most of it was only a slight margin, but she lost every time.

Yikes!!!!!!!!!!!! Hillary? That is about the most rediculous choice I've heard yet. Don't think for one minute I am against a woman being in the White House but definitely not Hillary.Maybe some of you should do a little research on her past.

The presidency is not a place for a woman. It would be an abomination to God and country.

Yeah, it's amazing how our American society boasts on being so equal, yet a woman hasn't been our President yet. Sure, I think it's time, but who, Hillary? I don't know if I could listen to her strident voice for four years.

Bush's term isn't over yet, and the Vice President isn't a woman.

You'll have to wait for the next election.

Woman, man, whichever... as long as they're qualified to do the job. It should've ALWAYS been time for women to be able to run as candidates, and it should've ALWAYS been about who was most qualified to do the job-- regardless of sex, race, sexual orientation, etc. We need a competent person as President, whomever that may be.

Let's get a pagan female into the White House. I think that's what we need!

I also agree with the person who said we need a strong black woman in office.
