I live in a tourist town .We see 1000's of out of state visitors daily. Why is it that people from Massachussettes drive so darn bad. if a car pulls out in front of you from a stop sign, turns with no signal, stops suddenly with no warning just plain aggressive and ignores the driving laws. 85% of the time the car has Ma. plates on it. What is about Ma. drivers that make them drive like this?

It is a proven fact that liberals -- which are well known to make up the vast majority of the Massachusetts population, make terrible drivers. Just ask Ted Kennedy and Mary Jo Kopechne.

I think ALL drivers (except me, of course) are bad drivers. At any given time, you see them, talking on the cell phone, just pulling onto the interstate (not merging-just going on like there is no one else there), pulling off the interstate (same thing).
People no longer drive with courtesy OR common sense. I live in Rhode Island and work in Mass, so I see it all.

Yes, Massachusetts drivers are the worst.
But they blame it on the pedestrians. Since Boston is a state built for walking and not driving, it 's like the clash of the titans.

I totally agree. A story is told that Ma. drivers (massholes as they are known) got their licences from a mail order catalog back in the early 1900's. The test, it seems, has got easier!!!

we get to where we have to go and we are very very very impatient....sorry but i try to break the habit! At least you dont live in Charlotte where there are drivers from all over the 50 states. That right there is aggrevating.

mass drivers are okay compared to DC drivers. come down here for a change and you'll start loving MA drivers.

I don't think were that bad, we just don't like following rules and republicans.Come on, it gets really boring when you have to make a stop at every stop sign, it seem there is one every block, and as long their ain't no police, no worries.
