I work for the state and I am not allowed to be on the internet. I would like to know how I could delete the area where it shows every where I went online. For example the window where you write down what your looking for. Every time I start typing something, that list shows up. Can someone who knows about computers please help me.

Oh boy. First, don't use the computer if you're not supposed to. Now, I can tell you how to erase some of your stuff, but if they log everywhere you go (most businesses don't but then again, you work for the state), then there's nothigng you can do. In fact, if that's the case, they probably already know about it.

Here's what you do:

Go to your Internet Options. Ususally you can do this by right clicking on your internet icon (not a shortcut). A screen will come up. If you're using Internet Explorer, you can open it, go to Tools, click Internet Options, and you'll be there. On the General tab, click Delete Files, Delete Cookies, and Clear History. If it's a google search, then, I'm not sure.

In internet explorer hit the tools tab at the top of the bar choose internet options then clear history, delete files and delete cookies. Do this each time before you signof your computer to clear out the internet activity for the day.

When you are in the internet browser, you can see a icon on the navigation bar "HISTORY" click on it and you can see a bunch of visited sites that also indicates the day when it is visited somewhat like monday, tuesday etc. and today. if you want to delete is just click on the "TOOLS" select "INTERNET OPTIONS" then "DELETE COOKIES" next is "DELETE FILES" and check the box indicating "DELETE ALL OFFLINE CONTENT" and the last item is the "CLEAR HISTORY" and all of the visited sites will be gone. repeat this commands if you wish to delete visited sites again.

system operators have server logs that track you everywhere you go. they also use keylogger software to record everyone of your keystorkes. there is no way around it.
