"PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti - Kidnappers seized two North Carolina missionaries on their way to church in Haiti's capital, and a U.N. official said Thursday the captors had demanded a $100,000 ransom."
Should we do what Israel did and just bomb Haiti?
I obviously say no if you read the whole article the FBI is working with the kidnappers to free the americans. why couldnt the israelis do that, all hezbollah wanted was for israel to release a few prisoners, so why couldnt israel negotiate something and take hezbollah out in a cleaner less deadlier way?
Tell me what you think on this, why you think the israeli situation might be different, explain your answer.
no racist comments or stupid answers.

The Israeli situation is different in the fact that if Israel caved in and exchanged a few prisoners in trade for their soldiers, then Hezbollah would see that as a vulnerability that they could exploit repeatedly. The sad fact is that Hezbollah, like Hamas and others, are terrorists.
With the Haiti incident. Not to sound harsh, but those are missionaries. Nobody asked for them to preach or try to push their beliefs onto the people of that region. The trouble with missionaries is that they know the risks, but still insist on sticking their neck under the blade anyways. Even a dog knows when to get out of the rain.

No, I don't think we should bomb Haiti. If this was a common occurrence, like it is in Israel with terrorist actions occurring all the time, I would say that we should take massive action. But this seems to be an isolated occurrence.
The Israelis are backed into a corner. People are dying every day due to Hamas and Hezbollah's direct actions and they needed to do something. That's why they attacked Lebanon - to get rid of the Hezbollah in South Lebanon. They really had no other option.

You have to understand how Israel has hezbollahs as prisoners in the first place. It is because Hezbollah has tried to terrorize Israel before. Israel has finally had enough and fought back.
Also, the Israel situation is different than the kidnap. It is a lot easier to negotiate with someone if all what they ask for is money. Especially, if money is not a problem to find. Here Hezbollah wants back people who have already tried to terrorize Israel. PLus I am sure that the kidnappers do not belong to an organization that is as organized as Hezbollah. Well, this is all just my opinion.

There are a few difference.
1. Hezboallah forces entered Israeli territory to kidnap the soldiers.
2. Hezboallah is an organization with a standing military power with seats in the Lebonese goverment.
3. Hezboallah is supported and sponsered by Lebanon, Syria and Iran.
This isn't a case of a couple of people kidnapping people for financial gain. This was military action calculated to bring about some type of reaction from Isreal. The difference lie in both the motive and the nature of the people involved.

As we all know, Hezbollah was not about to release any Israeli prisoners.
As someone smarter than me said:
If you disarm Hezbollah and Hamas today, the fighting will end today.
If you disarm Israel today, Israel will be wiped off the map tomorrow.
And since when do we deal with kidnappers or terrorists?

I think you are trying to compare two different situations. Hezbollah crossed the border into Isreal and kidnapped two of their soldiers. That is very different from two Americans traveling in another nation being kidnapped. While I hope the American's are safe, I don't think you can compare the two situations...

Your bleeding heart approach to crimes against humanity is why we have to spend billions of dollars to try to deal with thugs and thieves that should be shot where they stand and let the dogs and ravens feed on the sorry carcasses.
