Just tell him you wanted to let him know how much you appreciated his thoughtfulness. It was absolutely perfect and you had a wonderful time. Mention one or two of the events that stand out. Like the walk on the beach meant so much to me just to be in such a gorgeous place with you walking beside me makes me feel like the luckiest woman on earth. I would get on it today if I were you.

- a card is a good idea but you need to add personal touches to it.

Women invented thank you notes. Men could careless. Actions speak louder than words--I'll leave the action part up to your imagination.

Hey--want to REALLY let him know how great it was? (Seriously) When there are other couples around, including the male spouses/significant others, find a way to work into the conversation that he planned a great vacation and that you had a wonderful time. Make him look good in front of his peers--I'm quite certain that it's not possible for a women to fully grasp what a big deal that is to a guy.

(P.S. We're smart enough to know that we'll cause offense if we don't act excited when we receive a note or a card from the woman we love.)

I love to send my husband notes and cards through the mail---whether I am in town or away!
I compare it to going out to your car after a hard day at work ---or during your lunch break and finding a rose on your dashboard from the one you love!!!
He always gets excited when i think that much of surprising him---you'll never know how much it could mean the very day he receives it! That's part of keeping the love fires burning! : )
