Does anyone know where I can find a CD service manual for a 1998 Yamaha outboard. The model number is S250CXRW.

Try ebay or a google search, ebay has a lot of manuels and junk. Otherwise try google, it might find something u can order, or u might be able to just print it out. Good Luck!

if no adjustment on cable get new cable also replace spark plug and examine gearbox oil aspect and has no water in it teleflex cable not extreme priced do this and u shoul d not have any complications its no funny tale being stranded out in water and likewise if prop has shear pin or chop up pin replace] sturdy theory to carry spare pin for prop chuffed boating ]
