depends on the school district, types of students, the classes(regular, honors, etc.) Some have to be strict, others don't.

Actually, I have found that Junior High school teachers tend to be stricter. I believe they do so to prepare their students for high school.

Ja, they need to prepare the students for the working world! I have now a 11th Grader. And she is telling me that some of her teachers are "boring". She got honor classes, some of those High schooler drop out by 10th Grade!
You need a high school diploma for graduation from High School. Even fast food requires that nowadays!

No racism isn't a difficulty except you're making it out to be a difficulty. instructors care a lot less as you've a distinct instructor for each lesson and flow from type to type. so much better duty falls upon you to keep up with the artwork. sure you're able to have interesting, I hardly ever did my homework or studied a lot and did o.k., yet you pick to be quite wise and pay interest in college to attempt this. extreme colleges are commonly higher and also you should meat a much wider determination of human beings. also in case you'll some inner most colleges you're required to placed on a uniform which could have it is personal experts and cons.

I taught high school overseas for three years. I was stricter with certain students and lenient with others. It depends upon the student and the "atmosphere" in that particular class. I could have one class where I joked and laughed and sailed through lessons and then next period go to a class where we drilled slowly through the textbook.

Someteachers may be. But some are more lenient in higher classes. Because teachers are considered to be ' Friend, Pholosopher & Guide'. As the students become older the teachers become more friendly with them.

For what's it worth to you...no, we're not. But, YOU are getting older and the expectations for you change as you begin to near adulthood. So, it probably SEEMS like we're more strict; really though, we're just holding you to ever higher and higher academic and behavioral standards. Personally, I remember thinking that my HS teachers were a LOT tougher than they were in earlier years...but really...I think it was just that courses were a lot harder; my teachers were great!

They can be. High school students are a lot more naggy than middle school kids so teachers either wilt to this pressure or they are oblivious to it.
