Define regular gas... It USED to mean LEADED. Nowadays it usually refers to 87 octane Unleaded. No your Miata should not be run on regular leaded (if that's even available) It will run on 87 octane unleaded, but may require a higher octane rating to prevent knocking, especially it it is a high performance model or turbo.

Look just above the fuel guage, it should say unleaded fuel only. Still a mazda as far as I know. I would f*cking hope it takes regular gas or your gonna have a hard time getting to work.
Whatever gave you the idea that it took anything other than regular gas??

All cars can run on regular gas, except diesel models. You may not get the same performanxce as you would with medium grade, or premium, but it will work ok.
