Did/do you ever go through something like this??

(And I know for a FACT that it's sooo not psychological, it's very very real. Because I got really intense and unstoppable cravings before I knew I was pregnant, so I couldn't have imagined it!) :-)

Welcome to the world of Pregnancy, when for almost 10 months your body is not your own. LOL. When I carried my son, I had cravings for meat, vegetables, and fruit. It was weird for me, because I am a snack food junkie. My son was having no parts of it. It was not unusual for me to be in the middle of a meeting at work and have a craving for a burger with cheese, lettuce and tomatoes, and a salad on the side. And I couldn't think about anything else until I got just that. He didn't allow me to drink soda either. Whenever I ate something he didn't like he'd kick and I'd get nauseous. I learned to give into my cravings whenever they struck. He was happy and I was happy.

I used to have cravings that were so specific that if something was off it was a major tragedy. Many women have cravings. Some of us have food requirement emergencies. It's expected.

Yes is normal!!! I craved jalapenos and anything lime with my first. Fruit and sweets with my second. And kethcup with LOTS of pepper, subway, and chicken chimichangas with my third, oh and apple pie. Also when you are craving something, nothing else will do, and practically everything but what you are craving will make you feel sick. Your body actually craves what it needs or is lacking. A woman may crave jalapenos for the beta carotene and vitamin C in them, steak for the protein, etc. The only time you should really be concerned about cravings is if they are for bizarre things such a dirt, copper, or cleaning fluid. This can happen on rare occasion and is a specific pregnancy disorder. Do not act on those cravings and seek medical attention immediately. Good luck with your pregnancy and indulge and enjoy those normal cravings!!

Yeeesss!! With my first one I craved blueberries so bad. I live in New Mexico and it was February so you couldn't find them and if you did they were expensive. My loving mother bought me a pint and they lasted about 2 seconds.

With my second I craved red chile (I used to hate red chile). I would eat it for breakfast & lunch.

With both I craved cheese. Once I went through 5 boxes of Velveeta in a week. Ate it with everything. So, no, you're fine and enjoy your cravings because you may never like that food again!! Good luck!

I really looked forward to odd cravings when I was pregnant, but the only thing I ever really wanted was turkey with dressing, mashed potatoes, the whole Thanksgiving meal. Try finding all that in September. Luckly, november rolled around soon enough.

I craved Nectarines. My husband craved pickles. He would sit down with a whole jar of Vlasic Zesty Dills, and eat it all!

The thing is, if you are craving something, then there is probably something in that food that you need in your system. Listen to your body, but use moderation.

Hooter wings. I started eating the hot wings and progressed to the 3 mile island by the end of my pregnancy. Don't even begin to ask about the awful heartburn and acid reflux. Oh the pain! I couldn't help it! It was my only downfall.

I loved having a chocolate malted and frenchfries every night. I loved the smell of raw chopped meat and I carried a lil can of cumin around and kept it with me to smell...LOL. I loved the smell of cumin. ha ha.

I think that is about it.
