It all depends on what type of music it is. In christian music I like the lyrics because it sends out a powerful message. Rock Country Rap R&B I like the beat.

Definitly both! Some songs without lyrics are awesome, and with some songs, the beat might not be that great, but the lyrics are.

It depends....Do U only like the beat of the song? Or do you actually like the words of the song?
If you like the beat, then thats the ONLY thing you like, the beat, not the song...U like a song for the words in them...cuz dats the true song

like songs with a good groove, the beat is essential. The vocals that fit perfectily within the beat are the icing on the cake.

well with most rap sons it's just the beat cuz the lyrics are so insane, but with other song, it's lyrics and words.

First the music and rhythm and then the lyrics, but it's disappointing when a good song has crappy lyrics and vise versa
