Once upon a time, but through trial and error I learned that I could do most of what I paid for at a salon at home and that Dove soap, some Sea Breeze toner and a mid-price moisturizer with sunscreen (Roc) could replace the $400 bucks I dropped at the Clinque counter. Plus, if you're a savvy shopper you don't have to spend a fortune on clothes and accessories. Sure it's fun to engage in a little retail therapy every now and then, but I get a lot more enjoyment our of my house with no mortgage and zero credit card debt.

What does that mean? I like a manicure and pedicure, waxing, hair cut, nice food, good clothes. Does that make me high maintenance? I dont think so, I pay for it and I like to look nice.

I don't want to be, but I think so. I'm pretty self-entertaining, I don't fuss over my looks, and I don't demand to be taken out to high-class places all the time, but I still feel like a bother because I have to rely on others to do things for me.

Depends on what I am doing. Going to work or on a date, then no. Going to a wedding or any other social event where I haven't seen people for a while, then yes.
